Accounts Assistant

We are seeking an Accounts Assistant on behalf of our Gibraltar based client.

As an experienced assistant you will be responsible for reconciling Trustee accounts on a monthly basis and assisting with monthly management accounts pack as well as year end audit.

Accounts Assistant Responsibilities:

• Daily Payments for investment of funds to custodian and member benefits
• Compiling basic client monthly and annual tax returns
• Responsibility for petty cash including maintenance of petty cash records and completion of a cash reconciliation at each
month end
• Pension Schemes reconciliation
• Processing bad debt write offs
• Processing intercompany transactions and liaising across the group to ensure accuracy
• Reconcile intercompany accounts on a regular basis
• Preparation and submission of the weekly sales report
• Weekly Payments to suppliers
• Management accounts
• Year end audit
• Preparation of annual invoices and ensuring payment of same
• Review and update processes and procedures in line with business requirements

Accounts Assistant Skills/Experience:

• Previous experience in maintaining the monthly records pay runs
• Well-developed analytical skills
• Excellent client and company focus
• Accustomed to working as part of a team, with good social and presentation skills
• Previous experience with the use of excel
• Accurate with good attention to detail
• Desire to continuously learn and improve skills
• Proficient in working under Pressure and within deadlines
