Investment Administrator

Seeking an Investment Administrator on behalf of our Gibraltar based client.

The Investment Administrator will work with the wealth advisers as well as their dedicated para planners to ensure all documentation are compliant and then open the accounts with the Investment Houses.

You will have dual reporting to the Managing Director Compliance Director.

Investment Administrator Responsibilities:

• To review all new business to ensure paperwork meets criteria as set out in New Business procedures.
• Be a member of the risk committee
• Liaise with Para planners to obtain any missing paperwork
• Open accounts were necessary at investment houses and send welcome letters and online access details to clients
• To liaise with MD and assist where necessary
• Account opening for Senior members of staff and wealthy client’s relative’s (2-3 accounts per year)
• Maintain Terms of Business with IFA’s, Banks, and Brokers
o Liaise with the Legal department
o Prepare relevant Company due diligence, certify docs, etc
o Obtain and provide all necessary information
• Prepare consolidated reporting statements and send to clients. This includes downloading valuations and inputting the information on the
spreadsheet and finalizing the reporting on PowerPoint and send to the Clients.
• Request/download valuations
• Request/download breakdowns
• Holiday cover for Para planners and advisers

Investment Administrator Skills/Experience:

• It is essential that the Investment Administrator is willing to study investment or compliance qualifications.
• Must be interested in a career in financial services
• Process strong analytical skills
• Exceptional, attention to detail
• Ability to work within a team
• Proficient in working under pressure and within deadlines
