We are seeking an Accountant on behalf of our locally based client, a well established investment company. This is a Mon-Fri role working 9-5:30pm.

Accountant Responsibilities:

• Taking responsibility for resolving financial matters arising
• Finding solutions and coordinating between different parties to ensure tasks are completed
• Providing accurate financial information when requested
• Working within the team to be a financial “sounding board” or input for other team members
• Building relationships with necessary external parties to ease/facilitate working relationship
• Creating and processing customer Invoices
• Coding and processing purchase ledger invoices, credit notes
• Reconciling customer accounts including purchase ledger statements to suppliers on weekly basis
• Reconciling all company bank accounts
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Assisting in preparation of month end accounts
• VAT returns
• Credit Control

Accountant Experience/skills:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Part qualified preferred
•Good analytical / problem solving skills
• Deadline driven
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work solo and as part of a team
• Attention to detail
