We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Customs Clearance Clerk to join our Clients logistics team in Gibraltar. This role is critical in ensuring the swift and compliant movement of goods across the frontier, with full adherence to local import and export regulations.

Documentation & Entry: Prepare and process complex import and export documentation, including Single Administrative Documents (SAD).
• System Management: Use the ASYCUDA World platform for electronic declaration lodgment, pre-arrival notifications, and management of prepayment accounts.
• Compliance & Tariffing: Accurately classify goods using the Integrated Tariff Management System (ITMS) to determine applicable duties and taxes.
• Liaison: Work directly with HM Customs Gibraltar, freight forwarders, and clients to resolve clearance issues and minimise delays.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records and provide regular status updates on all shipments.

Essential Requirements
• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in a customs clearance or logistics role.
• ASYCUDA Proficiency: Registered user of the Customs ASYCUDA World system with proven experience handling electronic declarations.
• Qualifications: GCSEs in English, Mathematics, and Spanish or equivalent.
• Languages: Full fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Residency: Must currently reside in Gibraltar or have substantial prior experience working within the jurisdiction.

Key Skills & Attributes

• A valid Gibraltar motorcycle or car driving licence (preferred for ad-hoc duties).
