We’re recruiting a dynamic **Managing Director** to lead a high-performing division specialising in international pensions, annuities, and life assurance solutions. This is a senior strategic role for an experienced financial services leader ready to drive growth, governance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and performance-manage the administration and servicing teams
- Provide strategic direction and strong leadership across the business
- Deliver PBT and revenue targets, reporting to Executive and Subsidiary Boards
- Strengthen controls, processes, and regulatory compliance
- Drive service excellence and contribute to long-term strategic development
- Oversee budgets, financial performance, and risk management
- Act as a signatory and represent the company externally
- Support staff development and uphold organisational values
Key Competencies
- High integrity, impartiality, and sound judgement
- Strong communicator with the confidence to challenge constructively
- Skilled in influencing, managing change, and navigating complex decisions
- Professional, mature leadership style with strong stakeholder engagement
Knowledge & Skills
- Deep understanding of the life, pensions, and long-term savings environment
- Proven senior leadership experience in financial services
- Strong regulatory, compliance, AML, and data protection knowledge
- Analytical, strategic, and commercially focused
- Excellent planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to identify new business opportunities and drive innovation
