Our Client is looking for a Qualified/Part Qualified Accountant:
Purpose of the role:
• Supporting the production of month-end management accounts alongside accounting tasks such as raising invoices and processing payment runs.
• Populate SII templates and model used from TB and Management Accounts.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Administrative and accounting tasks using Excel, Word and accounting software
• Must have prior experience with variance analysis against budgets and forecasts
• Familiar with budgeting process
• Accruals and prepayments
• Balance sheet account reconciliations
• Reviewing and authorising purchase orders
• Client bank account reconciliations
• Assist with Solvency II regular reporting and annual submissions.
• Support Finance Manager and Finance Director in all tasks associated with Regulatory and Statutory Reporting.

Key Skills:
• Attention to detail
• Good level of numeracy
• Intermediate-Advanced Excel skills
• Good communication skills; written and verbal
• Strong organisation skills
• Ability to work in a team and unsupervised
• Knowledge of insurance accounting.
• Experience of statutory reporting
• Solvency II knowledge beneficial.

Requirements of the role:
• Previous experience with management accounts
• Accounting knowledge
• Qualified/Partly qualified is desirable (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
